These Terms of Service explain the services offered through riachinacare.com and the conditions for booking and payment. Please read them, including the cancellation and refund rules, before purchasing. These terms apply to new purchases from the date above; they do not retrospectively replace terms already agreed for an earlier order.
1. Who provides the service
Ria China Care (RIA, we, us or our) provides non-clinical coordination for international patients seeking care in China. Contact address: 8880 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, CA 92108, USA. Email: info@riachinacare.com. WhatsApp: +1 6693588326.
RIA coordinates specialist matching, communication and practical arrangements. Medical assessments, advice and treatment are provided by the consulting or treating healthcare professionals, not by RIA. We are not an emergency service. For urgent medical concerns, contact your local emergency services or healthcare provider.
2. What you are purchasing
Our current online consultation options are:
- Written Specialist Review — USD 299: coordination of a matched specialist’s review of the records accepted for your case, an English written opinion, treatment options or next steps, and indicative treatment-cost information where available.
- Video + Written Review — USD 499: the written-review service plus a scheduled video consultation and English communication support.
The checkout price and any valid discount are shown before payment. Hospital examinations, tests, treatment, medicines, travel, accommodation, visas and additional consultations are not included unless expressly listed in your written booking confirmation. Other coordination or travel services require a separate agreed scope and price.
3. Specialist matching and booking confirmation
Contact RIA before paying so we can assess whether your request can be coordinated, identify a suitable specialist and explain what records are needed. The proposed specialist, service scope, expected delivery timeframe and, for video consultations, appointment time are confirmed individually. A requested doctor is subject to suitability and availability; we do not guarantee access to a particular doctor before confirmation.
A payment receipt is not, by itself, confirmation that a named doctor has accepted your case or that a video appointment is reserved. Your doctor booking is confirmed when RIA sends written confirmation identifying the specialist and confirming the review assignment or video appointment. Video times should be checked in both your local time zone and China Standard Time. If the proposed specialist becomes unavailable, we will discuss a revised date or alternative with you rather than silently substitute a doctor.
4. Records, delivery and limitations
You are responsible for providing accurate, relevant records and telling us about missing or outdated information. You must have permission to share records belonging to another person. A parent or legal guardian must arrange services for a child. Do not put medical records in checkout order notes; ask your coordinator for the appropriate submission process.
Delivery depends on the specialty, the doctor’s schedule and receipt of sufficiently complete records. There is no universal report deadline. We confirm your expected timeframe individually and communicate material delays. Additional records or an in-person examination may be necessary. Remote advice has limitations and may change after examination or further tests; it is not a guarantee of a diagnosis, treatment eligibility or outcome. Do not change prescribed treatment solely on an administrative or AI-assisted chat reply.
5. Fees and payment
Pay the amount shown at checkout using an available payment method. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or other charges under its own terms. RIA service fees are paid to RIA; hospital clinical fees are paid directly to the hospital unless a different authorised arrangement is clearly agreed. Insurance cover or direct billing is not guaranteed and must be confirmed individually. Indicative treatment costs are estimates, not a fixed hospital quote.
Keep your order number and booking confirmation. A coupon is subject to its displayed conditions and does not change the underlying service scope. We will not add paid services without your agreement.
6. Cancellation, refunds and rescheduling
Before your doctor booking is confirmed in writing: you may request cancellation and a refund of the RIA consultation fee paid for that unconfirmed booking. Contact us promptly with your order number.
After your doctor booking is confirmed in writing: we do not offer a discretionary cancellation refund because you change your mind, decide not to travel, or no longer wish to proceed. This applies to an accepted written-review assignment as well as a confirmed video appointment. Please be sure you wish to proceed before confirming the doctor booking. This rule does not remove any refund or cancellation right required by applicable law.
Rescheduling: contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend. A change of time is subject to the specialist’s availability and is not guaranteed. Any additional charge must be explained and accepted before a replacement appointment is booked. Missing an appointment or not supplying records does not automatically entitle you to a refund; we will discuss the available next steps.
If we cannot provide the purchased service: we will offer an appropriate alternative for your approval or refund the undelivered portion. If no part of the purchased service can be delivered, the consultation fee will be refunded in full. A different medical opinion or an unfavourable treatment recommendation does not, by itself, mean the review service was not delivered.
How to request help: email info@riachinacare.com with your order number and request; do not include sensitive records unnecessarily. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Your bank or payment provider controls the time taken for funds to appear. Hospital, airline, hotel and other separately booked third-party services have their own cancellation rules, which should be reviewed before booking.
Your statutory rights remain: nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, applicable cooling-off rights, or remedies for services not supplied as agreed. Where the law requires a separate request or express consent before work begins during a cancellation period, payment alone is not treated as that consent.
7. Travel and treatment arrangements
Do not purchase non-refundable travel solely on the basis of an enquiry or payment receipt. Confirm your appointment, entry requirements and medical suitability for travel first. Visa assistance does not guarantee visa approval or entry. Hospitals and treating professionals decide clinical suitability, investigations and treatment; RIA cannot guarantee recovery, a specific result, a fixed total treatment price or insurance reimbursement.
8. Website, accounts and privacy
Keep your account credentials secure and contact us about suspected unauthorised use. Use the website lawfully and do not submit false information or interfere with its operation. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. General website information and illustrative reports are not an individual medical assessment.
9. Questions, complaints and changes
If something is unclear or does not match your booking, contact RIA with your order number so we can investigate and discuss a resolution. Nothing here limits responsibility or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update these terms for future purchases; the version and written service details agreed for your order remain relevant to that order. Contact us before payment if you need clarification.
